On Friday 8th February we held our annual Eurovision song contest which was a great succsses. During the afternoon groups of 8 children from each class sang their hearts out.The theme of this years event was Battle of the Bands and what a battle it was, the standard as always was fantastic.The winning group voted for by the staff was 1A singing Cartoon Heros by Aqua.
The evening event was just as successful with the groups once again performing this time for family and friends. The winners of the KS1 contest with a lively performance was 2N singing I want you back by Jackson Five. The KS2 contest was won by 6W with a 3 song mashup. Dont stop believing !
Finally a huge thanks to all the family and friend who came to support us,you helped raise a staggering £1135 which will go to provide a new stage and equipment.
