On Monday 20th May all children were invited into school wearing blue clothes. We were celebrating May being the month of Mary. The children had to bring flowers in. The day started with a whole school liturgy where we sang many hymns to Mary. Evi in Year 6 crowned Mary’s statue and then all children processed and placed the flowers around Mary. We were amazed with the amount of flowers we received. Flowers were then placed on worship areas in all classrooms. In the afternoon some of the Mini Vinnies delivered the flowers to people in local care homes. We delivered flowers to Hopton Cottage Care Home and Woodlands Court. Flowers were also taken to Tentercroft Court and Ashworth Grange. Also, some flowers were delivered to parishioners of St. Paulinus parish. Everyone who received flowers were delighted.
