‘As part of our English topic, Persuasion, we looked at the various techniques and used Bill Poster’s 6 tips: Adjectives, rhetorical questions, play with words, benefits, exaggeration and snappy sentences.
Equipped with these, the children devised convincing arguments to persuade Lila to either enter or not the grotto to get the Royal Sulfur. To that effect, we used  the ‘conscience alley’ where Lila was walking down the alley and other children were murmuring their convincing arguments for Lila to make up her mind at the end of the alley.’
