On Friday 4Th May we celebrated Mary day in school. In 3N we had so much fun and took part in a range of activities. These included a whole class collage of the crucifixion with each table partaking in a section of the picture using different materials, we wrote prayers to Mary for our class worship prayer book, we made Irises (a flower that looks like a sword which represents the sorrow that pierced Marys heart at the death of her son), beautiful Mary cards were made to take home and we made a bun rosary. It was a fantastic day and the whole class enjoyed all of the activities.
