Sacramental Programme

Sacramental programme.

In Leeds Diocese three sacraments are offered to baptised children in Key Stage 2.
In year 3 all baptised Catholic’s are invited to attend preparation to make their Sacrament of First Reconciliation during Lent.
In year 4 all children who have made their First Reconciliation are invited to be prepared for First Holy Communion, usually in June.
In year 6 all children who have made their First Holy Communion are invited to be prepared for Confirmation. This year Bishop Marcus will be confirming our children in January.
These preparation sessions all take place after school and are run by teachers following the Leeds Diocese preparation books. Children must also attend Church regularly and, if they want to be, they are very welcome to help in masses by reading, serving or doing the collections.

Congratulations!!

To our Year 4 children who celebrated the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Sunday 11th June at St. Paulinus Church. May they be blessed with God’s love always and carrying on their journey of faith always.

Congratulations!!

To our Year 3 children who made the Sacrament of Reconciliation in school on Wednesday 15th March. They then joined the parish to celebrate mass on Sunday 26th March where they received their certificates.

Congratulations!!

Ten of our Year 6 pupils were confirmed by Bishop Marcus in a lovely service at St. Mary’s Church, Batley on Thursday 26th January.
