Today we learnt all about Armistice Day. We found out about why this was a special day and then looked closely at poppies. We all had a go at completing a range of activities including potato printing, making a remembrance garden with loose part, chalking and painting.
We discussed why everybody stopped at 11 o’clock for two minutes silence and the children all stopped and spent the two minutes in quiet reflection showing a great level of maturity and respect.
