Early Years have been very busy learning the poem Zanzibar this week in our Magic of Story lessons. We were so proud of our achievements we invited 1B to watch our presentation. EYJC & EYR took turns to share the poem with actions. 1B were very impressed and Mrs Beirne bought us all a biscuit as a treat!

As part of our New Life RE topic in EYU we have placed 13 eggs in our incubator. We are very excited to see how many eggs will hatch in 28 days.

March 2025

Early Years had a fabulous morning looking at old household objects. We had a posser and tub, an old iron, carpet beaters and a wash board. The children were particularly fascinated with the chamber pot!

As part of our World Book Day celebrations we shared many stories together. In the morning we invited parents in for a book and biscuit event where they could read a story and enjoy a biscuit together. I. The afternoon classes shared stories together. 6H came down to EYU to read to us. What a lot of stories we shared!

EYU had great fun making and tasting pancakes! We had a choice of chocolate spread, sugar & lemon and golden syrup to put in top. They all tasted yummy! We also had fun practicing tossing the pancakes!
