Dear Parents and Carers,

You will probably have heard through social media and the article in this weeks Reporter about an appeal to raise £300k for Beau, a 5 year old girl from Liversedge who has been suffering with a rare and aggressive cancer and needs pioneering treatment in New York.

Please read this weeks article in the Dewsbury Reporter https://www.dewsburyreporter.co.uk/health/rush-to-help-liversedges-little-beau-to-america-for-pioneering-trial-to-help-with-her-cancer-fight-3524284

It has struck a chord throughout our community and there are so many events that are taking place including a Midnight Walk, a Black Tie Ball, Raffles, Sponsored Events to name a few.

As a school we would also like to make a contribution and would like you to help us support Beau’s Appeal.

We are fundraising to support Beau by having a Wear Your Own Clothes day on Friday 28th January.

We are asking pupils to donate a £1, however, donations above this are very warmly accepted and will all be going to help Beau. If you want to donate more then please do and send into school in a sealed envelope to hand into class. This can be handed in on the day, however if you wish to make a donation via school before the day, you are welcome to hand in any donations in a named envelope at the school office.

The Appeal has used the name ‘Rainbeau’ on some of their posters and so while pupils can wear their own clothes, it would be lovely to see pupils wearing something Rainbow coloured to show support for Beau and her family.

A small gesture that will help to make a huge difference for Beau please donate. Thank you.
