Today’s story is about a man many people didn’t like.
Of little stature, he was unable either to see over or to make his way through the crowds and therefore scaled a sycamore tree. There he was singled out by Jesus, who said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today, I am coming to tea at your house”
They called him a sinner, which is funny because aren’t we all sinners?
